Green Box Lab, made up of Katie Loughmiller and Tracee Johnson, grew out of the Otis College of Art & Design MFA Public Practice program. This program emphasizes collaborative exchange amongst diverse artists with a focus on social justice. Green Box Lab is particularly interested in exploring the hidden relationships between seemingly contrasting art forms. Through video exchanges and installations, the artists push each other to evolve both individually and collectively.

Space & Race Video Installation

A collaboration video made with fellow cohort and artist Tracee Johnson. While my work explores identity, personal history and cultural experience, Tracee's work investigates urban landscapes and seeks to create interactive play in unexpected or ignored sites. Through creating this video and its installation, Tracee and I pushed each other to evolve both individually and collectively as artists.
